CIS consolation #2: Beaulieu-Maheux leads Laval to consolation final
OTTAWA (CIS) - Laval's Jean-François Beaulieu-Maheux is having a weekend to remember at the 2008 CIS men's basketball championship. After scoring a game-high 28 points in an opening-round loss to No.5-Acadia on Friday night, the sophomore guard from Chicoutimi, Que. netted a tournament-high 32 points as the No.4-Rouge et Or knocked off the No.8-Alberta Golden Bears 87-79 in the second consolation semi-final at Scotiabank Place. -
