CIS Track Championships logo announced

The University of Manitoba will be the host of the Canadian Interuniversity Sports (CIS) Track and Field Championships from March 10-12, 2005. The official logo for the event has been launched, and the championship presenter sponsor will be Mondo. The official logo incorporates three lanes of a track under a leaping pole vaulter. Those two images are positioned inside a Bison gold maple leaf. The designer of the CIS T&F logo is former Bison basketball player Lynda Guy.  Guy was a Great Plains Division All-Star in 2002-03 and finished her Bison career last season. The Orangeville, ON native is studying graphic design in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba. The CIS T&F Championship presenter sponsor is Mondo. They are excited to be a part of the CIS T&F Championship. Brian P. As the official track supplier of the last eight Olympic Games and with more than 200 world records and countless national and personal best records having been set on Mondo tracks, we are very excited to be a part of this great event." Mondo is also the supplier of the indoor and outdoor track surfaces at the University of Manitoba that were re-done for the Pan Am Games in 1999.
