MONTREAL (CIS) Samantha Cully's goal at 3:12 of the second period proved to be the game-winner as No.2-seeded Wilfrid Laurier won a hard-fought 3-2 decision over No.3-Concordia and advanced to Sunday's gold medal game of the CIS women's hockey championships. -

5th PLACE GAME: X-Women claim first ever AUS win
MONTREAL (CIS) - Freshman Christina Davis of Stouffville, Ont., scored at the six-minute mark of the third period and the goal held up as No. 4-seeded St. Francis Xavier upset No. 3-Concordia 2-1 to finish fifth at the CIS women's hockey championships. It was the first win for the X-Women at the tourney and also the first-ever victory for an Atlantic conference team in 24 tries at the Nationals. -
